Yamaha 70HP 2-Stroke Long Shaft Outboard — Big Tiller, Electric Start

This is a genuine Yamaha 70HP 2-stroke long shaft outboard in excellent running condition, ready to bolt on and go. The big tiller handle model gives you factory power trim and tilt control at the tiller, along with electric start backed by a manual choke as a reliable backup.

Fitted with a new Solas 15-pitch stainless propeller, this motor starts on the first or second pull, idles smoothly, and delivers strong water pressure through the tell-tale — a good sign of a healthy water pump and clean cooling passages.

The factory oil injection system has been deleted, so this motor runs on pre-mix only. This is a common and accepted modification on 2-stroke Yamahas of this era, often preferred by owners chasing a simpler, more reliable fuel delivery setup with one less system to maintain.
