We Ship Australia-Wide
Whether you’re in suburban Sydney or a remote property in outback Queensland, we’ll get your motor to you. We freight used outboard motors to all states and territories across Australia — metro, regional, and rural.

How We Ship Outboard Motors
Outboard motors are heavy, awkward freight and they need to be handled properly. We don’t just slap a label on a motor and hope for the best. Every motor is prepared for transit before it leaves us:
- Drained of fuel and oil where required for safe transport
- Secured to a pallet or in appropriate packaging to prevent damage in transit
- Shipped via reputable freight carriers with experience in heavy and oversized goods
- Covered by transit insurance for peace of mind
We use trusted national freight partners and choose the carrier best suited to your location and the size of the motor.
Shipping Costs
Freight costs vary depending on the size and weight of the motor and your delivery location. Outboard motors are bulky items and don’t qualify for standard parcel rates — we won’t pretend otherwise.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your postcode. For remote areas or unusual delivery requirements, we may contact you to confirm freight costs before processing your order.
If you’d like a freight estimate before purchasing, get in touch with us directly and we’ll sort one out for you.
Delivery Timeframes
Standard delivery timeframes once your order is dispatched:
- Darwin and NT metro — 1 to 3 business days
- Major metro areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide) — 3 to 7 business days
- Regional areas — 5 to 10 business days
- Remote and rural locations — 7 to 14 business days or longer depending on access
These are estimates based on our freight partners’ standard service levels. Delays can occur during peak periods, extreme weather events, or in areas with limited freight services. We’ll keep you updated if anything looks like it’s going to run longer than expected.
Dispatch Times
Most orders are dispatched within 2 to 3 business days of payment clearing. If a motor requires additional preparation before dispatch, we’ll contact you to let you know.
You’ll receive a confirmation email when your order is dispatched, including tracking details where available.
Tracking Your Order
Where our freight partners provide tracking, we’ll pass those details on to you. Not all carriers offer real-time tracking for heavy freight to regional areas, but we’ll do our best to keep you informed at every stage.
If you haven’t heard anything within your expected delivery window, contact us and we’ll chase it up with the carrier on your behalf.
Delivery Requirements
Please make sure someone is available to receive the delivery. Outboard motors are heavy items and most carriers will not leave them unattended without authority to do so.
If you need delivery to a depot, business address, or have specific access requirements at your property, let us know when you order and we’ll make a note for the carrier.
If a delivery is missed and needs to be re-attempted or redirected, additional freight charges may apply.
Remote and Regional Delivery
We understand that a lot of serious boaties are based well outside the main cities — that’s the nature of this country. We do our best to service remote and rural postcodes, but freight to some areas can be significantly more expensive and take longer.
If you’re in a remote location, we strongly recommend contacting us before purchasing so we can give you an accurate freight quote and realistic delivery timeframe for your area.
Damaged in Transit
We take care packing every motor, but occasionally things happen in freight. If your motor arrives visibly damaged, please:
- Note the damage with the driver at the time of delivery if possible
- Take photos of the packaging and the motor before unpacking further
- Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the delivery
Do not attempt to start or use a motor that you suspect has been damaged in transit. Contact us first and we’ll work through the process with you.
International Shipping
We currently ship within Australia only. We do not offer international freight at this time.
